Abstract
Mangroves and wetlands are estimated to be one of the largest bio sources of carbon sinks. The current study mainly focuses on soil analysis of different factors like - Percentage of Organic Matter, Texture of the Soil, Moisture Content, Electrical Conductivity, Total Dissolved Solids, pH and Salinity of mangroves and wetlands of Visakhapatnam urban coastal environment. This study helps to find out the ecological status of Mangrove and Wetland soils, for their restoration and management in the Visakhapatnam coast of Andhra Pradesh.
